So, last year, we did our first International trade shows – Maison & Objet, Paris and ICFF, New York.
At both shows we were approached by, what seemed, a never-ending stream of Trend-forecasters, chatting to us about our designs.
Most seemed really intrigued by our illustrative spin on ferns, botanicals and the concept behind our Nightflowers collection – the idea of photographing flowers after-dark.
Looking at the Trends for 2015 as featured in UK interior magazines, we can see that we are definitely “on-trend” for the year ahead!
According to Living Etc’s February edition, decorating your walls with shades of red is very “now”…
Get your colour hit with our Claret-Red Fern Wallpaper….
The modern twist on Chinoiserie was also featured in February interiors magazine editorial….
Our graphic, bold take on Chinoiserie incorporates Neon colour – bringing it bang up to date….
“Midnight Garden” was a feature in the March edition of Living Etc… with Ferns replacing Palms and the idea of taking inspiration from the garden at night – hmmm… sounds familiar!….
Our Japanese painted fern cushions are perfect for capturing the dark botanical trend…..
… As are our “Fern Forest” cushions and wallpapers…….
Even Alexander McQueen got in on the act (!), with a collection print called “Night Flowers”, shown in Paris AFTER we exhibited our Nightflowers collection in Paris….. talk about Zeitgeist!
The Alexander McQueen Night Flowers De Manta Clutch…… and below our Nightflowers Lily print….
Our next show will be ICFF in New York in May this year…. You fashion-forward folks had better keep an eye on us! 😉
